Grocery store reopens after bomb scare - Crime - Canoe.ca: "Ottawa grocery store reopened Friday morning after a bomb scare.

Police and the Ottawa Fire Department hazardous materials unit arrived at the Price Chopper grocery store in the city's east end to investigate reports a pipe bomb might have been found on a wooden pallet.

Police say it appears to have been a device from a nearby construction site.

The store was given the all-clear shortly after 10:30 a.m.

Early reports said the package was found outside the rear of the store by a garbage bin and brought inside."
